Josette Bruffaerts-Thomas has a career as a teacher in Haiti and as a consultant and coach in France.
CEO of the consulting firm Competitive Intelligence Management (CIM) in Paris, she is also the founder and president of the association Haiti Future, dedicated since 2010 to improving education through digital technologies and entrepreneurship in Haiti as well as the promotion of Haitian culture in France.
After graduating from Ecole Normale d'Elie Dubois and the Institut National des Hautes Etudes Internationales (INAGHEI) in Haiti, she began her studies in France at the International Institute of Public Administration University of Paris XI. Back in Haiti, she worked at the Ministry of Agriculture as Director of Human Resources.
A few years later, she specialized in business intelligence / intelligence and coaching / team building, where she obtained an MBA. She then invested in the support and training of about 50 women entrepreneurs in Haiti.
In addition to her consulting missions with different organizations, Josette Bruffaerts-Thomas has taught technological intelligence and economic intelligence in several universities and schools in France: Paris-Dauphine, Collège de Polytechnique, Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers, Catholic University Of Angers.
She is a member of GRAHN France and the Board of Directors of Collectif Haïti de France, bringing together 80 French-Haitian associations.
Awards and Recognition :
• The Black Women's Leadership Prize awarded by the European Association of Women Entrepreneurs presented at UNESCO in 2004
• Trophy for women's success by the association Euroméditerranée in 2006
• Medal of the French Senate for Latin America in agreement with the Embassy of Haiti in France in 2013
